5 in 5 - July 2018 - Celebrating 5 years! Day 1

Welcome to '5 in 5' where on the 5th of
each month I post 5 photos that I have
taken in 5 minutes.

Join me in celebrating the 5 year anniversary of 5 in 5!!

Where did those years go?  It never started as a plan to continue this photo project indefinitely, but each month I continue to enjoy  new themes or focus for my photo collection. I like to have a sense of purpose and taking photos is no different. That's why this meme began and along the way I have met new friends and enjoyed the pleasure of seeing their contributions. Melanie, my friend from Australia, has also been part of this journey. This was something that was never planned or expected, but a wonderful thing that developed. Sadly Melanie will be unable to continue her monthly contribution due to personal commitments, but I am grateful for the experience and her commitment.

Before I share this months photos I want to celebrate by sharing some of my favourite posts taken over the past 5 years.  And over the next 5 days there will be more collections which I hope you will see for the first time or enjoy revisiting. My July 5in5 photos will be shared on day 6 - but as always please join in and share your own collection any time between now and the 25th. Full details of how to get involved are below, with a link so others can come and see.

WIN ONE OF MY HANDMADE BOOKS, FREE GIVEAWAY!!

I am planning a free give-away! To be in for a chance of winning one of my specially handmade books, like my page, leave a comment or link over the next 6 days.  Each participation will you gain you another chance.  On day 7, Wednesday 11th July, I will randomly select a name and announce the winner. Be in it to win it!!

So let's get started. Sit back with a cup of tea, and enjoy a brief look back in time.

  1. I so enjoy this meme, but somehow, I'm almost always taken aback to realize it's the 5th! So much for planning . . . We'll be on the road most of the day, but within the next few I know I'll have five to share for sure! Looking forward to having time to look back on your faves. Congrats (and thanks!) for five years of fun photography!
