Welcome to '5 in 5' where on the 5th of
each month I post 5 photos that I have
taken in 5 minutes.
August was a month of travel and I took several sets of photos with '5 in 5' in mind. I was
spoilt for choice, and in the end I decided to
share photos of a brief walk on the beach, taken on the Isle of Bute. My time there was very special and if you have not already seen my previous post you can
read about my trip here.
There are lots of lovely beaches around Bute, and as we could camp wild we watched the sun setting and the tide come and go from our campervan. It was lovely to sleep with the sound of the water, and the call of geese as they flew over and landed in the waters edge. Of course, I was temped in too.....
including an artist, on this occasion.
I stopped to admire his work on my way back and it was interesting to see how the same scene had been captured in paint.

Lovely photos! I think my favorite is of the artist even though the beach isn't in view. Thanks, as always, for hosting this. Hope to be more timely this month!
ReplyDeleteHello,Sandy.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are lovely, and especially the artist in the last photo is wonderful. You captured him very well!I am still in summer break. I look forward to joining 5 in 5 October. Have a good day!
I like the artist one best as well. What a lovely place to paint.
ReplyDeleteI have 5 in 5 on the 5th ready to go - but time difference will be at play for me.
ReplyDeleteA walk along the beach would be such a wonderful way to blow out the cobwebs of my mind. I like the artist's casual stance of seeing to painting.
What an interesting viewpoint - I always love to see different people's idea about the same view. Great photos.
