5 in 5 - PIN MILL September 2013

Welcome to '5 in 5' where on the 5th of each month I post 5 photos
that I have taken in 5 minutes.

And here's my photos for September, taken at Pin Mill in Suffolk.
This is the area where Arthur Ransome wrote Swallows and Amazons, a series of adventures about children sailing.  I must find my copies and re-read them.... recapture those wonderful memories of reading at bedtime.  And in later years we had our own adventures sailing
these same rivers in a Thames Sailing barge, with pirate parties on small islands and exploring back waters where seals watched our passing.  But I digress...

Because today I visited by car with friends.  For lunch.  The sun was shining and it was hot.  People sat outside the pub enjoying the view and I felt like I was on holiday.  I decided I must come here more often,  I love boats and anything to do with the water, and there was plenty of photo opportunities.

The perfect place and time then for '5 in 5'!  And so I set my timer for 5 minutes and here are 5 of the photos that I took:

Memories of a happy day.  And a reminder not to leave it too long before my next visit.

..................................

  6. Hello Sandie thanks for your comment on my post. It was nice of you to pop over. As for the 5 in 5 I think in my excitement of joining this challenge I just clicked your linky thing too soon, thinking that was how to sign up for it. I realise now that when I've done it I should link it then. I'll try again soon.
