I opted for Pamela. Shame really, as her name is Patricia!
And sometimes I live by the saying.... I'm so glad I managed to drag myself your direction and happened upon this :)

I have a story a bit like your own. The last time I was sick, I staggered back from the doctors to find a postcard on my doorstep. I turned it over and read a lovely message, signed by R. So I emailed R to thank her. Yes, you guessed it...wrong R. And it took a bit of detective work to find the kind sender :) Sianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01764280029794453933noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3339699185293528077.post-3362659332087132112015-11-05T09:04:20.700+00:002015-11-05T09:04:20.700+00:00A sock story you say? Well, on Monday, as J sat with his feet up watching TV after work, I glanced down at his socks and thought they looked familiar.
Me: "Are those my socks?"
Him: "I don't know? Are they? It was dark when I got dressed this morning."
Me: "Yes, they're mine. They're my nice thick ones."
Him: "Well, you can have them back ... they keep falling down."

Not sure if I was meant to apologise to him for the inconvenience!

I'm glad you ironed out the misunderstanding. It's quite freeing to be able to admit you made a mistake and, as The Bloggess proved, sharing things like that can have such a good outcome! In fact I very nearly bought a ball of wool with a free sock pattern and needles when I was buying some fabric online recently until I gave myself a mental shake and a 'would you really have the patience for doing that?' thought. But I'm kind of regretting it, Sian's socks are rather beautiful ... I wonder if the site still remembers what I had taken out of my checkout basket? ;-) Watch this space!debs14https://www.blogger.com/profile/14521565769251816528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3339699185293528077.post-35422206637827912112015-11-04T13:25:31.644+00:002015-11-04T13:25:31.644+00:00Now those are very pretty wellies - seems a shame ...Now those are very pretty wellies - seems a shame to pop them in a puddle! I am sure Sian will be thrilled with that sock pattern. I did start to make the odd deliberate comment until I found myself using them in general conversations with store cashiers etc - just so not appropriate.
Sandiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12558786621283350776noreply@blogger.com
